Abhik Bhanu is an experienced counsellor and life coach, as well as an acclaimed Indian filmmaker, screenwriter, and author. With over two decades of engagement in understanding human behavior through storytelling, real-life interactions, and creative expression, he brings a unique, empathetic, and insight-driven approach to counselling.
He works closely with individuals to understand their emotional, psychological, and situational challenges, offering guidance rooted in practical experience, observation of human behaviour, and an evolving understanding of mental and social dynamics. His counselling approach is centred on deep listening, identifying core concerns, and helping individuals develop clarity, resilience, and meaningful direction in life.
Abhik holds a postgraduate degree from Allahabad University
(Prayagraj), studied Mass Communication at Symbiosis, Pune, and completed a formal counselling course at Atma Darshan, Mumbai. His multidisciplinary background enables him to blend psychological insight with real-world experience. A natural storyteller, he explores life through meaningful interactions, connecting with people who seek understanding, expression, and personal growth.
Strength: Strong ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
Limitation: Finds it challenging to function in persistently negative
environments.
Area of Ongoing Exploration:
The nature of consciousness, its connection with the external world, and the metamorphosis of human awareness.
Through his ongoing initiative, “ATB – Across The Bridge,” he is developing a counselling-based musical series exploring human psychology, relationships, the concept of happiness, and the state of mind. The series reflects his philosophy of building bridges between people, emotions, and inner conflicts — while encouraging a more aware and limitless way of living.
He actively engages with students and individuals across schools and colleges, conducting interactive sessions focused on self-awareness, relationships, mental well-being, and life direction. His recent interactions include institutions such as Jiwaji College (Gwalior), Hansraj College (Delhi), and Chetna College (Mumbai).
In addition to his counselling work, Abhik Bhanu has written, directed, and produced multiple feature films and authored fifteen books, many of which explore human nature, moral dilemmas, and psychological depth.
